Mars is the early riser and the early sleeper. After it is nourished in winter and is productive in spring, it distributes its results of inspiration and purpose in the summer, so nature can be revitalized for a productive season. When Mars rests in the fall, life relaxes and we enjoy the fruits of its hard work. Mars rises again for nourishment in the barrenness of nature as life itself sleeps or dies in the winter.
